On January 5th 2009, the Inauguration of Dae Sung Song, the new President of the Sejong Institute,
was held at the Grand Auditorium. This event was held together with the opening ceremony of 2009.

President Dae Sung Song emphasized the importance of unity within the organization to further
develop the future of the Institute. He also made prospects of the Institute as a key contributor
to national development, as well as to all purpose-driven projects run by the Institute,
based on the status and achivements made as a private think-tank throughout its history.
